The brief
A'ight is a video-first social app with creator-first monetization built directly into the feed. We designed and developed the iOS and Android app, including the feed experience, the creator dashboard, and the discovery flow that gets new users into their first share within seconds.
What we solved
Consumer social is a brutal category. The graveyard of attempts is full of products that built TikTok with a twist and shipped to silence. To win, A'ight had to feel obviously different from the first scroll. The creator-first economic model needed to be visible inside the feed, not buried in settings, so that creators understood the value within the first minute of use.
How we got there
We started with the feed. Every video on A'ight surfaces tip and subscription affordances inline, with no overlays or modal interruptions. The creator dashboard is one tap away from any feed screen, so creators can check their performance without breaking out of the app's rhythm. We worked with the founding team on the early seed creator program to make sure the onboarding flow surfaced their work first.
What we shipped
The app lives in three primary surfaces: the feed, the creator profile, and the dashboard. The feed uses a custom gesture model that makes tipping and subscribing one-thumb actions. Creator profiles double as monetization landing pages. The dashboard surfaces earnings, trending content, and audience growth in a single glance.
What changed for the client
A'ight crossed 12,000 users in its first ninety days and saw average session times of 45 seconds, which is strong for a new social app. The creator tier hit its first 500 paying members within the same window, validating the core economic premise.
