FlyKhiva came to us with a niche thesis: most travelers have never considered Central Asia, and that's the point. We helped them turn 'never considered' into 'just booked.'

The brief

FlyKhiva is a travel booking platform focused on curated flight deals to underrated destinations across Central Asia. We designed and built the marketing site, including motion-heavy destination pages that immerse visitors in each location before they ever book. The result feels closer to a Condé Nast Traveler feature than a flight aggregator.

What we solved

Most travel sites are functional but visually flat, optimized for transactional search. FlyKhiva needed to feel inspirational from the first scroll because the entire pitch is convincing visitors to consider destinations they hadn't thought about. The site had to do double duty: inspire the visitor, then convert them.

03Approach

How we got there

We designed each destination page like a travel feature: full-bleed photography, editorial typography, and motion that builds atmosphere as the user scrolls. Practical booking information sits in a sticky panel that follows the user down the page so it never gets in the way of the editorial flow. The hero of the marketing site is a rotating destination carousel with curated narrative copy for each.

What we shipped

The site combines a managed editorial content layer with a custom flight deal feed. Each destination has a narrative page, a practical booking panel, and a related-deal carousel. Framer Motion drives the destination transitions and a few key moments like the hero carousel and the booking panel reveal. The full system is designed to scale to dozens of destinations over time.

What changed for the client

FlyKhiva attracted 25,000 unique visitors in its launch month, with a 2.4 percent booking conversion rate (compared to the 1.1 percent industry average for travel sites). The site was featured in Condé Nast Traveler within two months of launch, which generated a second wave of inbound traffic.
